Raipur, Chhattisgarh: Kalinga University, Faculty of Pharmacy a leading institution in academic excellence, celebrated World Pharmacists' Day on 25th September 2025. The event was organized to recognize the pharmacy profession and its vital role in ensuring the safe, effective, and rational use of drugs.
World Pharmacists Day is celebrated on September 25 each year, highlighting the vital role pharmacists play in healthcare and promoting their contributions to better health outcomes.
The theme for this year’s celebration was “Think Health, Think Pharmacy”, emphasizing the importance of integrating pharmacists into health strategies to address global health challenges. To mark the occasion, a Health & Wellness Camp, Women’s Health Screening, and Basic Life Support Training (CPR)was conducted,which saw the enthusiastic participation of students. This event was conducted in coordination with Shree Medishine Hospital.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Neha Pagare, Dr. Poonam Gupta and their team from Shree Medishine Hospital.The Event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Sandip Prasad Tiwari, Principal- Faculty of Pharmacy. The event was coordinated by Ms. Khushboo Gupta Pranjul Shrivastavawith an organizing committee includingDr. Sandeep Kumar Mishra, Dr. Indulata Kanvar, Smruti Ranjan Dash, Naimish Nanda, Mrutyunjaya Bhanja, Ayushmaan Roy, Dr. Rupali Bharti Saw, Deepesh Kumar, Prabin Kumar Mishal, Ms. Rashmi Sinha, Ms. Saloni Sao, Dipak Bhadre. 200 students along with 20 faculty members, participated in the event.
